On March 30, the Third Eastern Civilization Summit Dialogue will be held in Chengdu. Many domestic and foreign political and business people, experts and scholars will discuss "the wisdom of Mencius: Cultural Exchanges and mutual Learning toward a Community of shared future for Mankind".

       The Eastern Civilization Forum was founded in 2017 by Mr. Meng Liang, the 79th generation of Mencius, and has been successfully held for four sessions so far, becoming one of the public welfare civilization conferences with global influence.

       It is reported that the Mencius Public Welfare Foundation holds the "Eastern Civilization · Summit Dialogue every 1-2 months, has arranged 10 dialogue activities with different themes in 2024, and will also hold the" Fifth Eastern Civilization Forum "in August.

       The event was jointly organized by the Mencius Foundation, the Confucius Academy in Qufu and Hainan Soju Technology Co., LTD., with special guests Herman Van Rompuy, former Prime Minister of Belgium and First President of the European Council, Supachai Panitchpakdi, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and former Secretary General of UNCTAD, Jeffrey Sachs, professor of Economics at Columbia University and director of the United Nations Sustainable Development Network, Executive President of the World Association of Confucius Descendants and the 78th Generation of Confucius Confucius, searched many domestic and foreign political and business people, experts and scholars, such as Tang Hua, co-founder of the Group, former director of the Bill Room of the Financial and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress, and Zhu Shaoping, a famous legislative expert and economist. Dialogue discussions and keynote speeches will be held on "The historical mission of leading exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, the historical responsibility of the new form of human civilization, Confucianism and a community with a shared future for mankind".

       Through this small platform for the exchange of Eastern and Western civilizations built after six years of efforts, a series of activities on the journey of Eastern civilizations will be held, which will directly affect the understanding of Chinese culture (Eastern civilization) among core groups in the fields of politics, economy, humanities, art, science and technology around the world, and increase the sense of identity of the global elite group on Eastern civilization. At the same time, it carries the major proposition of human development, influences and drives more people with insight, and makes beneficial exploration for human development.
